Startups as an Asset Class – Identifying Potential, Shaping Guidelines
Germany’s future competitiveness depends on how consistently it invests in innovation and entrepreneurship. Startups are increasingly emerging as a distinct asset class — yet the frameworks, networks, and knowledge needed to unlock their full potential remain underdeveloped for many investors.
The Capital for Innovation Summit brings together up to 150 leaders from the investment community, business, startups, and politics to address this gap. The program combines keynotes, a panel discussion, and hands-on workshops exploring how startup investment in Germany can be strengthened and scaled.
The Summit is convened by Futury, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), and UnternehmerTUM. It marks the eighth edition of the nationally rotating Family Office Roundtable Series — opened for the first time to all investors active in the startup asset class.
