Sustainability has quickly moved to the top of almost every company’s agenda – in fact, the call for a sustainable transformation has never been louder. However, our corporate world lacks innovative ideas and practical solutions to finally make a change. If we want to meet our sustainability goals, we must redesign today’s approaches and if we want companies to transform, we need to empower their employees.
With our innovation program “Transformation – Be Sustainable!”, we want to discover, design and build these innovative solutions that contribute to the sustainable transformation of our corporate world – together with young entrepreneurial talents and experienced market leaders. Aiming for a more sustainable future, we do not focus on a single industry but on cross-sector solutions and – more importantly – all pillars of sustainability: ecology, economy, and society.
For our program,we defined three action fields that will be covered by one of our three innovation teams (with three multidisciplinary talents) to move our economy from attitude to action:
1. Inspiration: we design asustainability assessment tool for corporates to win over people’s hearts
2. Education: we create a gamified sustainable education curriculum to provide relevant knowledge
3. Activation: we develop an ESG screening and portfolio management tool to initiate actions
Out of almost 600 applications, we invited 9 talents from top European universities and German business schools to our program, who all gathered experience at major consulting firms, DAX 30 companies and/or public institutions and governmental organizations – they know the corporate world, and they are ready to transform it. During the next three months, they will work in daily sprints on market research, user research, user testing, business modelling and prototyping to present their solutions at our milestone pitches and, subsequently, implement these in the market. Together, we will inspire, educate and activate the world, and path the way towards a more sustainable future.
