Nowadays we tend to spend more hours at work than we do at home or elsewhere. That´s why a sustainable work environment could make long workdays less stressful and more enjoyable. But how does a sustainable work environment look like? Find out in our upcoming mission!
Together with Deutsche Bank, Bain & Company, GreenCycle and Handelsblatt, Futury has launched a new initiative for a sustainable future. We are searching for young talents for each of these twelve topics to develop sustainable solutions within 3-month innovation projects.
Are you concerned about the future of our planet? Join now to make a change!
Sustainable organizations aim to balance their profit, their people and our planet in order to achieve long-term success and viability. But sustainability is not that easy to implement in every company, as it requires great leadership to achieve goals beyond regulatory compliance. However, workplace safety and health are often underemphasized, or overlooked completely. Integrating safety and health into sustainability provides an opportunity to better protect employees and achieve a truly sustainable organization.
Our upcoming mission: Work – be next aims to find solutions to incorporate sustainability at workplaces. But what does a sustainable workplace look like? Will it still be in offices or will Home Office replace the workplaces we are used to? In times of digitization, is it still necessary to travel to do face to face meetings or will this be more and more replaced by video meetings and digital hangouts?
Apply now to find sustainable solutions and answers that might revolutionize this important topic we deal with day to day!
We will select the best 5 teams (i.e. 20 applicants) from all over the world who bring the highest motivation and the best ideas to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for the respective topic. Each team will work on one idea. For three months, the teams will work on their ideas in a co-working space in Frankfurt and will have the opportunity to intensively collaborate with all partners.
Futury will welcome the teams with an intensive onboarding week full of methodological workshops, e.g. Design Thinking & User Research, as well as expert lecturesin Frankfurt to put them directly on the right track. Afterwards, they will prepare their initial pitches for the first milestone event - the Kick-off - where they will present their innovative and sustainable ideas and get to knowall project partner for the first time.
From then on, the teams start turning their ideas into reality. All project partners will support the teams with their know-how, industry insights and best practices. Through regular exchanges and on-sight visits, we ensure a co-creational approach. All teams will be accompanied by Bain & Company, one of the world’s leading strategy consulting firms, who provide helpful advice, methods and tools. Futury gives access to any other expert needed: user research, prototyping, business modelling and testing specialists. And get exposed: the Handelsblatt, an initiator of THE MISSION, will give you great reach through their media channels!
After three months of intensive work, the teams will present their prototypes and business models to all partners. This could be the first step towards your ownstart-up or direct career access to one of the partners. How far you want to reach simply depends on your commitment.
The start date of the project will be September 2020. Unfortunately we cannot give an exact start date yet. But if you are interested in the project "Work - be next!" and don't want to miss the start of the application phase - then apply now via the application form below by uploading your CV. Futury is an innovation and company building platform that connects students and innovation-seeking companies. We like to give talented people the opportunity to unlock their full potential by developing value-based innovations.
Futury starts with the innovation request of the business partner, transforms it into a project and invites young talents and entrepreneurs to participate in these. During the project phase, the teams go through a structured, three-month start-up and innovation program that takes them from the first concept to the final business case.
In addition to professional and technical workshops, the teams are coached by experienced mentors of the Werte-Stiftung, to ensure sustainability in innovation.
For me, Futury means diversity, both on a professional level and a personal level, fun and lots of innovation and new experiences.
Besides an energizing team spirit, you become part of a potential new start-up in a setting incomparable to anything else. Or can you think about a place where you get all the freedom you need to be creative and being paid for creating your own company?
